This Privacy Policy explains how PyAI handles information when you use our platform, APIs, console, and websites (the “Services”). This policy is effective as of July 28, 2026.
Controller / Processor roles: When you use the Services to process personal data of your end users or other third parties, you are the data controller and PyAI acts as a data processor on your behalf. We process such data only on your documented instructions and as described in this policy and any applicable data-processing agreement.
1. Information we collect
- Account data - name, email, organization, and authentication details.
- Usage data - API requests, metering events, logs, and diagnostics.
- Audio and content - the audio, text, and files you send to be transcribed, synthesized, or processed.
- Billing data - processed by our payment provider; we store only limited details (e.g., card brand and last four).
2. How we use information
To provide and improve the Services, meter and bill usage, secure the platform, prevent abuse, and communicate with you. We do not sell your personal information.
3. Audio and voice data
We process your audio to deliver transcription, synthesis, and realtime sessions. You are responsible for obtaining consent for recording and for any voice you clone. We retain audio only as needed to provide the Services and per your configuration.
4. Sharing and subprocessors
We share data with infrastructure and subprocessors that help run the Services (for example, cloud hosting, email, and payments), under appropriate agreements. We may disclose information to comply with law.
5. Security and retention
We use technical and organizational measures to protect data, and retain it only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law.
6. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data. Contact us to exercise them.
7. Cookies
We use essential cookies for the console session and may use privacy-respecting analytics on our websites.
8. International transfers
We may process data in countries other than yours, with safeguards required by applicable law.
