Bot-disclosure law

A law requiring you to tell a person they're interacting with a bot/AI rather than a human, in the US these are mostly state laws (e.g., California's B.O.T. Act).

Bot-disclosure (or AI-disclosure) laws require informing a person that they're talking to an automated system instead of a human. In the US there's no single federal rule; obligations come from state laws such as California's B.O.T. Act and the Utah AI Policy Act, with scope varying by state and use case. The EU AI Act imposes a comparable duty in the EU.
